Relaxation, aromatherapy or lymphatic drainage: choosing your massage
Not sure which massage to book? How our three massage treatments differ, and which suits you best.

At a glance
- Relaxation massage suits stress and everyday tension.
- Aromatherapy adds essential oils for a calming, sensory experience.
- Lymphatic drainage uses light, rhythmic movements and feels very gentle.
Relaxation Massage
A soothing full-body massage with personalised pressure. Choose it if you want to switch off, ease everyday tension and feel rested. Pressure can be adjusted throughout, from light to firm.
Aromatherapy Massage
Therapeutic massage techniques combined with carefully selected essential oils. Many people find the scent deeply calming. Let your therapist know about any sensitivities or scents you would prefer to avoid.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
A gentle, specialised technique using light, rhythmic movements to encourage healthy lymphatic circulation. It feels very different to a traditional massage — soft rather than deep — and is a popular choice when the body feels heavy or puffy, or for wellbeing support after other treatments.
How to choose
- For stress, poor sleep or general tension — Relaxation.
- For a calming, sensory experience — Aromatherapy.
- For heaviness, puffiness or a very gentle treatment — Lymphatic Drainage.
Every massage at Fuse begins with a consultation, so you can also simply tell your therapist how you feel and let them guide you.
Getting the most from your massage
- Tell your therapist about injuries, medical conditions, medications or pregnancy before treatment.
- Speak up about pressure at any time — there is no wrong preference.
- Drink water afterwards and give yourself a little quiet time if you can.
